Very scrappy opening with very weak signals. On the very edge again.

I may have had the canaries on 92.9 with E211 appearing, but there is another Radio Nacional listed here in Plasencia, so not 100% clear though suspect Canaries.

French also heard for a time on 87.9.

Good DX!

Canary Islands have been in here in the last 10 minutes with RNE Nacional on 92.3 and 92.5 (the latter with PI code of E411). A bit confusing as they went to a regional CNR opt-out after 1130 UTC, so didn't match the RNE Nacional mainland stream.
Good DX.

North Africa was around at 9am this morning at the bottom of the band. Heard the wonderful Lebanese Singer Faruz being played. North Africa back at the the moment 87.5 to 88.0 but not strong enough for RDS.

It was very hit and miss - around 1200 UTC FMList predictor suggested I could get MDR - unfortunately that is 40 deg off to the side of my beam and nothing was heard.

It opened up in the late afternoon and is still going strong and all the way to the top of the band.

So far May seems to be better than average overall.

Recordings of two RNE Nacional outlets from the Canary Islands from this opening:

92.3 RNE Radio Nacional Canarias Izaña 2847 km: https://app.box.com/s/jq84xhs2qpkrmb24aspybz02tk4glaqv

92.5 RNE Radio Nacional Canarias Frontera 2965 km (presumed site) PI E411 + MRC: https://app.box.com/s/xsa2iiw2vbk9rpi1jnpescxyngx82hhm

There may have been a couple of other CNR stations but not confirmed.
Good DX.
