Near future:
Rádió 1 Velence will start soon on 90.4
Rádió 1 Kaposvár will start soon on 99.9
Rádió 1 Tatabánya will start soon on 96.7
Best FM Budapest will start soon on 99.5 (replacing Magyar FM)
Best FM Székesfehérvár will start soon on 101.8 (2kW ERP, pol V this will be the strongest local)
Cross FM Budapest, a new religious station will start on 98.6 MHz in February (5 kW from Gellért-hill)
89.5 Music FM will over in February (licence expires)
95.8 Rock FM will be Sláger FM (Now 103.9) in February (both stations have the same owner)

so many new stations and so less interesting programmes :( religious, talk, news.

what is going to happen with 103.9 MHz if Schlagerrádio switches over to 95.8 FM?
Will RockFM change towards 103.9 or will this be sold to another owner company?

A band full of right-wing, propaganda Radio Radicale-like stations... 100% politics, 0% entertainment, 0% music... What's left apart from Rádió 1 and (politics apart) Petőfi? That must be the worst European country for a bandscan...

When I read "A band full of right-wing, propaganda Radio Radicale-like stations" I suppose that you're referring to format of her broadcasts.
Because Radio Radicale isn't a right-wind station (but yes, I could agree that in Italy, in the last years, the concepts of "right-wind" and "left-wind" are been heavily put under stress).

Yes, "right-wing" doesn't absolutely refer to Radicale. I was referring to its format, of course.

On 1th of February Manna FM 98.6, a new religious broadcaster has started from Budapest/Széchenyi hill with 2kW ERP in V polar.
This station have a difficult story. The whole management was changed before the start, the original founders were sell the company to a Christian civil organization. This organization have good relationship with Viktor Orban's brother's religious group. The original plan for this station was alternative music+culutre with a little reiligious content. The tender of this frequency was contained must-carry religion-related programs.
-----------------
Rock FM 95.8 was changed to Sláger FM, here is the video from it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1sffoEA4vI
-----------------
FM 103,9 is off air, will in tender again (Ex. Sláger FM)
-----------------
Music FM 89.5 wil off air at 7th of February. No tender for 89.5 yet.

this seems a good frequency, nothing to the right or left which might interfere and the QRG itself is a clear channel there.

That was literally the best indeed, there are very few radio stations like that nowadays. Rádió 1 is somewhat decent, too, but doesn't play that much dance music... and what about the rest? Rock FM 95.8 is gone too, what's left apart from R1 and Petofi's music?

Speaking of Tilos, I'll always remember that one bit of understandable, non-Magyar programming. One morning,
I tuned in and... they spoke Italian and played fellow music - that came as a pleasant surprise to me!

All the rest is just talk/religion/propaganda. I feel lucky not to be living there, but somewhere with a greater (maybe the greatest?) choice of stations. Not good for propagation of course, but better than blah blah blah everywhere, anyway.
