"I am getting NO null and adjusting the resistor makes no difference"

My guess would be you have a connector or coax problem.

First new station with the Flag ! And a new country

Radio Nacional del Paraguay - 920 - In for much of the night. ID at 03:04'34

I know - It's a new transmitter and probably easy to hear now, but it's a start.

I lied and kept using the flag as conditions were still so poor. Still getting great reception lower down the band, but rubbish higher up and noise levels are high. Checked all the connections etc. I'll have to try rewiring the balun as still no null.

Congratulations. I have never received Paraguay.

Would this be the station on 920.0014 by any chance? I have it, but the splatter from 928 is dreadful this morning.

In a quiet gap, I recorded this at 05:03:50. https://app.box.com/s/g4ta0njyrp4yuuhwnv5ulf3ymhizef7w I have never seen this carrier before. Audio clarity would be good if it was not for the splatter.

Ignore the time on the clip - it's 05:03:50 NOT 03:03:50.

It's got to he Paraguay. No doubt this will poke through nicely with an ID at some point wince they have improved their transmitter.

Just Bolivia to go for the full house!

Sorry John, I'm sure I replied earlier, but it seems to have done a Yahoo! and disappeared.

Mine was on 920.0009 when calibrated with 909.

On the second recording that sounds like what I had with a jingle like burst of music followed by the OM ID, another short burst of music and then the OM talking about "buletin informativo de manana"

I couldn't have calibrated properly the first time. just re-calibrated. Spot on 920.0009 here too.

Will sit this one out as I am sure it will come through again at some point.

Thanks again.
