17th August 2018

Post by Tim Bucknall » 09 Sep 2018 22:15

I've got some really unusual sounding reception on a recording at 10:02:25-10:02:42

Can someone remind me what was going on?

87.5,6 &7 have crazy flutter on them so much so they are distorted

87.5//87.7 with military sounding fanfare

Speech might be Greek?

I know aug 17th is an Orthodox saints Day , would there be a bugle fanfare for that?

i'm not sure the Greek sounding speech is the same station as the fanfare i think i may have caught Turkish radio commemorating the anniversry of the 1999 earthquake
