Hopefully this will reach here sooner or later.

I can't complain really as there was a period of Spanish tropo here at the beginning of the month.
Good DX.

...which I missed :( Are most Spanish stations using horizontal polarization btw ? I didn't realize how many vertical ones from France

I think the big RNE transmitters are mixed polarisation. The rest are mostly horizontal with some vertical. 100.4 is still in here just after midnight but little else.

Heat wave supposedly ends mid week, hoping it triggers something.
Considering what the tropo forecasts were predicting for Friday night/ sat morning reality was a let down. maybe if I could have got to the hilltop where I heard the canaries a few years ago I could have tapped into a duct but not only is the A54 closed for maintenance til November (!!!) But the next best route was also closed making the trip so time consuming we settled for the legendary cat and fiddle pub 1690 asl - which has gone out of business btw.

C & F always produces Near FM 90.3 but other than that it was a let down.

Any congratulations to our colleagues in Cork on the sensational CPV catch, is it a record?

France is still crashing in here but it's getting boring I want Spain please ! think I remember RNE on 105 was much stronger V pol with me. But re France since I got my vertical dipole up I am surprised as I said just how many stations use vertical pol only

FMLIST says that RNE 5 on 105.0 from Liérganes/Peña Cabarga is horizontal polarisation.
