Multi-hop Khakassia / East Siberia?!

Post by PFM907 » 12 Jul 2018 21:49

Today, between 1557 and 1559 UTC, I have heard this one with clear ID:

"Radio Rossii Respublika Chakasija 91.0 FM Abakan" @ 69.02 MHz :o

Signal was stable for two minutes, but gone before the news. FMLIST has one relay listed as "planned":

69.02 RUS Radio Rossii (GTRK Khakasiya) Balyksa (RK) 4871km 57° - (1)

I wonder if any other RR outlet does re-transmit signals from Republic of Khakassia?

Earlier this afternoon, also "AVTORADIO.RU" on 104.7 MHz could be heard with weak signal for about 3 min.
I have logged this tx. as Novorozhdestvenskaya, Krasnodar province - 2222 km (!), 102 degr., ERP 0.63 kW.
This one fits best to the other logs from Rostov-nad-Donu area and sth. Ukraine. :geek:

However, regarding the Radio Rossii log, I also have to consider Abakan @ 4986 km, 56 degr., ERP 4.00 kW.

Any ideas?? This seems really out of place. :? Audio of both logs is available very soon.

I'm sure its the real thing, i used to get karamay , east turkestan on 65.75 every few years and you're further east than me, one year i even had weak audio on 72.25 (slush level).

your reception is altai region, east siberia is further east

Among my recordings, I have also found strange language popping up for ~ 6 sec. behind UKR and the krimtartarian channel on 98 FM. Might have been somewhere in the Caucasus area, however, most of those countries do not use the frequencies between 91.7 and 99.7 MHZ for FM broadcast, due to TV carriers in this range.

Anyway, I am gonna send them a recording. Maybe they will reply. Lets wait and see. Would be great stuff

Could you post the recordings here too please? I'd be very interested to hear them, and I'm sure others would be too.
