The area where the excellent and abnormal reception of South West England and South Wales is possible closely follows the property line of the Rose & Crown Public house (including Car Parks) except where it Bulges outward to the SSW.

Fantastic! That is a gem of a location. I hope the pub grub is still as good as it used to be. Many happy visits over there when I lived in Nottinghamshire.

So East Coast Radio 96.2 has taken over from Lantern? Sorry, Heart Barnstaple? Ah, those were t' days.

pub grub excellent , i like these new owners better than the last few. yes 96.2 was a nice surprise here inland .freq was bit of a jumble then i heard irish ads drift to the surface. quality of 102.1 was best i've ever had outside its service area ,totally in the clear no splatter , i even played it to dad and he heard the jingle .same with 107.3.
kilvey was so clear i had the barefaced audacity to try 94.6 and 96.4 but no luck, i guess that was taking the p, maybe with a beam?
anyway good to see the path from the magic carpark is fairly indestructible. 103.9 was soup 95.2 was cleremont c
no sign of our friend leslie platons this time so there is some variability

Excellent!

I wish I could do more mobile DXing around the Wolds here. There are lots of excellent take-offs. The Lincolnshire Wolds are very picturesque and are regarded as similar to the Cotswolds. With approximately 60 x 20 miles in this stretch of the Wolds alone, there is plenty to play with. It's like a mini-Peak District. As an example, Normanby Wold (north-west of these wolds) provides RDS from BBC Oxford 95.2. Pity it's a 50 mile drive as I would go there more often.
