Thanks, I saw where the jet stream was and turned the shack off

Russia 1 49.757 Glubokoye produced some good video a bit ago fading out as I type no doubt it will be back.

i use various chats clusters etc and having sdr"s is the game changer for me as i can watch many freqs at one time and watch the muf rise fall etc , David

ie one one sdr i am watching the bottom of band 2 the other i am watching b1 and the other i am watching for oirt and other low vhf sigs , David

Either keep the radio on, or tune to a specific band where the Es are being reported such as 10m or 6m band. Thats how I do it anyway.
Also check out the DXmaps website which gives an indication if the E Skip is reaching your location & on which band.

Flat as a pancake here. Yet haven't got any Sporadic-E this year. Not a good sign.

no trace for 3 days now (last opening on May, 11th) in Germany. i will give it a try next weekend. dont have much time till then
