i can see Cherbourg at home on the FFT on 92.297 whenever signal peaks coincide with audio gaps

it occured to me that 101.6 could be neufchatel so i'm monitoring the channel but the programme format of F Bleue is not ideal for carrier monitoring

It might also be NRJ from Flers/la Chapelle-Biche Tim. This seems to be a more frequent visitor here than France Bleu from Neufchâtel. What sort of music were they playing when you logged it?
Good DX.

Nick, could you make me a recording of the speech parts next time you have France on 101.6, i may be able to tell if the tx is unstable if it has something co-channel to beat against - it will make a siren effect

if theres nothing for it to beat against perhaps you can create a weak carrier with an itrip or by tuning a portable 10.7 mhz below 101.6?

you guys really need to get into carrier measurements so i don't have to think of mad schemes like this JK;-)

i saw something unstable on 101.6 at 0020 last night, from how intermittent it was i would say that its programming is not speech based and most of its output was music
