F5LEN's predictions even going further, up to 20th of April! That would be a very long lasting tropo lift. Sadly this is my late shift, so I won't be available during the afternoon and evening DX.

I wonder if the 5C temperatures of the North Sea will be helping this along? Remember 2013 anyone? Some of the best tropo I have known and this also followed a cold and extended winter with the North Sea temperatures being below average.

Aye 08/07/2013 mega tropo to Germany when my band went from English to German that was after a cold Winter/Spring produced some excellent tropo.John Faulkner, Skegness wrote: ↑13 Apr 2018 09:45I wonder if the 5C temperatures of the North Sea will be helping this along? Re: Tuesday 17th April looks good on Hepburn
Isn't that one big downgrade?
Re: Tuesday 17th April looks good on Hepburn
Wednesday afternoon still looks OK for France, Thursday afternoon might be OK for Belgium/Netherlands...
Re: Tuesday 17th April looks good on Hepburn
The forecast is changing all the time. It's very hard to say anything at this point. The best way is just to wait till Wednesday to find out. I noticed a sharp temperature drop on today's evening, but no sign of tropo.

It would be nice if the Swedish and Polish paths open up again.
Absolutely right. It can all change. And it almost certainly will!

Both, Hepburn's and F5LEN's maps predicting the most intense conditions on Wednesday into Thursday this week. The forecast has weaken though and looks very patchy. Northern France is covered with green colour on both maps.
John, you have very good location. There is a chance for the Czech Republic and possibly Polish signals on Wednesday night.

Thanks Zach.
I have just caught up with yesterday evenings update.
Remaining hopeful of something. It looks like something else could be building over the coming weekend.

Conditions starting to lift a bit here. A couple of low powered northern France relays on the BOB already.

Wow! Lifting here too!
Lille on the large side, plus some SE/E England stuff. Swingate, Manningtree, etc., but missing out Wrotham.
