Language 87,9

Post by Julius63 »

Hello,
Once again I ask for language help

Heard this station on 87,9 , August 30th 2019 at 1147 UTC. Checked many webstreams from the Balkan but found nothing. Could it be Ukrainian? As a few minutes later I heard many many stations from Ukraine on OIRT band and R LV Odessa was also logged on this freq 87,9 in Holland. Thanks for help.
I have two videos, each half hour apart. But I presume both is the same station. Would be nice tough , if they were different stations, hi.

They both link to the same video Julius. It sounds like Polish to me.

Hi Julius. That sounds like a different language, from a Baltic country, maybe Latvian.
Good DX.

So it is! Funny how you can misinterpet languages.

I played these files to my Lithuanian lady friend. She speaks five languages, including Russian and she thinks it is Ukrainian. It's certainly not Lithuanian and I guess not Latvian either.

the missing one was able to play via youtube (by watching the first one and then clicking on the name of the channel, the next movie would be the other, automatically).

one of the movies sounds greek in my ears,

the other one has a romanian word ("ministru") in it as well as a slovak one ("sprave" = news).
I am not so sure on this, as "da" for "yes" can be several languages and the recording is very short, unfortunately.

but what I can definitely sort out is
