Post by Juha Ylonen »

Hi all,

https://app.box.com/s/ggov1vfe5w1bfcwyporp2c4p1topgrzr

Any ideas on this link freq unid?

At the same time there was KCR.fm, Keith. And little bit earlier Bridge FM, Dundee.

Thanks,
Juha Ylönen

At the beginning it sounds like Clloyd Community Radio Station.

The Clloyd is almost certainly not correct - may be a gaelic name. Can't find anything similar on ofcom's list.

i think its the end of an Ident ie: "radio xxxxxxx, xxxxx's community radio station"
which means it could be any CR in scotland that we don't know the link freq for
so we can rule out Nevis FM and Heartland FM

a Scottish person would probably be able to identify the accent, to me it just sounds like central belt Scottish English
i messaged David H (our lone Scot on the board)

Thanks Tim and Satnipper!
Yes probably the first part faded off. Maybe another MFR station as KCR or Caithness FM on 52.75. ?

This was a brilliant idea, I don’t know if they have a working web stream but you should email them for sure

To my ears the guy clearly says "Moy's community station"

There is a Moy in the highland's near Inverness.

(as well as one in Tyrone, N. Ireland)

Thats what my ears hear, but may not be correct.
