Band 2 Es Logs Weds 29th June

Post by Jim (Bournemouth) » 01 Jul 2016 20:16

After a quiet 2-week period here since 13th June (only short openings consisting mostly of short teases after that date) things finally livened up here with a big opening to the Mediterranean which lasted for many hours. Was at work for the first part, but was home a little before 1600 with an Italian opening in progress. This soon moved to Spain/North Africa with Italy/Tunisia also reappearing later. Also some short skip to France and some Sardinia to finish.

I may also have had Msallata from Libya mid-evening, around the time Mike Fallon logged it - well-modulated Arabic and not one of the usual suspects, but annoyingly, the lack of a stream and a failure to pull RDS data from the signal means that I cannot be sure.
