UNID OIRT - Help needed

Post by Patrick73 » 03 Jun 2017 17:31

I found a short recording I made last year with my cell phone, during an OIRT opening.
Could someone help identifying the station, heard on 71.5 (I was running a Tecsun radio, frequency is not accurate), but I guess there's an ID on my recording. Thanks !

It sounds like "Radio Proglas", but I am not 100% certain. Nothing listed with that name.

Hi Patrick,

it's Radio Grodno from Belarus without any doubt. The exact frequency should be 71.54 MHz. Nice catch.

Thanks a lot to both of you !
This was received indoors with a tiny PL-310. Not a great DX but a nice catch though ;-)

Definitely! The tiny Tecsun DSP portables are nice performers for their price. Reminds me of that I should have my PL-380 repaired...
