Interesting volatile condx this afternoon almost like dxing at coastal locations

Rapidly changing signal strengths from S9 to inaudible

95.6 was interesting mix BBC radio Cumbria/South East Radio/BBC Radio 4 Brougher Mountain

93.2 was Crystal Palace/Maghera/Ballycastle

93.6 was R Na Gael/BBC Radio 4 Chalford

93.8 R Ulster Brougher Mt/BBC R4 Weston Supermare

104.4 BBC H&W, headless cross -i never see this logged anywhere

104.6 BBC radio 4, unstable tx, probably camlough

106.7 I radio, Monaghan. Mostly ex but sudden drop outs

What thwarted me in the end was the lack of available channels for DX, hope FM is still on 87.7/9

After getting les platons at home this morning I was sure there would be a sign of it on the hilltops but the North west England stuff was too strong to shift

SATCOM band produced
249.575 Unid distorted wfm BC, Latin America
Plus tons of Brazilian chatter everywhere

Due to co channel collisions DAB produced nothing except London Greek Radio from Manchesters experimental MUX

Location, the hanging gate derelict pub, higher Sutton, near Macclesfield off the A54

Equipment
Reuter electronic rdr pocket for band II
Comm radio cr1 for SATCOM 243- 260mhz
Sharman skyscan ant on car roof

Today's playlist:
Pendulum Man by Bark Psychosis
Maiysha by miles Davis
An ending by Brian Eno
Mountain Goat by amorphous androgynous
Home:Burkhardt Reuter RDR54D1 SDR V.415,
+ CLP 5130 Log P ant

Mobile: Comm Radio CR-1 + Sharman Skyscan ant, Pira P275

Headless Cross (also the title of a Black Sabbath album) yes but its not very strong.
