99.2 Tessala Algeria has a very distinctive tight zig-zag pattern- could be useful if one was receiving this tx at low levels via tropo

92.0015 either Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant or Stanton Moor is slight above the nominal freq, but one is exactly east of me and the other almost exactly west so i can't tell which is which

Its probably to difficult to receive but try BBC Radio nan Gàidheal on 104.0, just a 570 watt relay from the Rothesay, This TX that covers Isle of Bute. It broadcasts the Left channel only, is low modulation and out of sync.

I visited the Isle of Bute in January and it was faulty then, just spent a week and the Island and the transmitter faults are still the same 6 months later! It looks like nobody monitors or fixes faults on small remote relays. Maybe no one listens to Radio nan Gàidheal so no one is bothered.

I will put off reporting it. Thing is I do like BBC Radio nan Gàidheal. I was able to listen in Stereo on DAB from the Ayr Mux. I do think the Rothesay beams south so a Rothersay reception catch may be possible. I just cant believe that a transmitter can be so faulty for so long. May be its an underhand way of getting people to buy new DAB Radio's.

Anyway most of the signals I received on the Island of Bute was from the South, mainly Ireland. I will post my log soon.

Radio nan Gàidheal carries Radio Scotland when not broadcasting. Then from 1am it carries Radio 5 Live.
