BBC R3's here and now, succumbed to self parody?

Post by Tim Bucknall » 16 Sep 2018 08:20

Just listen to the first "performance" in last night's edition (via BBC listen again)
Can you ever imagine thinking ,oh I fancy listening to that?
Maybe if you had some unwanted guests...

It consists of wierd vocalisations, "my grandparents didn't have chickens and they didn't lay eggs"

Last week was like that the whole episode!

I've heard some really beautiful spooky music on this show in the past but this!

I usually find the vocal stuff least interesting, mostly just grating.

I may use this as a test loop on a tx :D

now rebranded as "the new music show"
haven't heard the new format yet as my pvr stopped recording the series when the name changed

one thing i'm sure of, the rebranding/replacement of H&N is totally down to my post on this powerful forum :D
