Cb frequency odds and ends

Post by Paul_Logan » 01 Jun 2015 19:26

Hi all,

anyone else heard the NFM signal on 27.170 playing Russian ballads with excellent audio - I've heard it a few times in the last week. I'd guess it's from Germany. CB with a cd player wired through the mic input? Anyway they have their levels right, it sounds really good.

Another oddity recently was two Finnish guys talking through a repeater on 27.225 - anyone have any idea where it's from?

I have a dipole up for CB freqs for the first time since 1988 - had some great fun talking into GB on May 28th with contacts from the isle of Wight up to Bradford. A real blast from the past.

anyone else use CB these days?
