Irish Tropo starting

Post by Andrew Webster,Wigan » 04 Jan 2015 11:25

Ireland is increasing this morning so hopefully it will continue to improve later.

I gave up on MS as Scene 1 (pirate) 87.7 Liverpool is on air along with MAR (pirate) 87.5 also on so no chance of any MS here.

French signals are better so far today so fingers crossed that we do get a decent opening in the next couple of days. The weather here is cold, calm and misty so definitely tropo-friendly conditions.
Good DX.

This morning it was freezing fog but when that lifted Ireland went the other way down anyway now the sun is going down Ireland is coming up so hopefully it will continue.
No sign of Three Rock yet but hopefully it will improve.

Ireland came up well after dusk and now Euskadi Irratia 87.7 has arrived now hopefully more to come.
Edit: SER 100.9 came up to RDS level and then dropped back.
