I haven't had much time to listen yet but I was getting good signals from SE England and Lille. Also something German on 100.5.

Tropo has been going on today since early morning with German signals reaching the UK. The entire Lille TX was booming here with strong RDS signals. I also had Belgian signals reaching RDS. It all faded out now in my area.

French signals back again here & so is Ireland. Paris DAB is trying again now, still not good enough for audio. Eiffel Tower FM relays doing very well here, 87.8 Inter & 90.4 Nostalgie.

Edit: Paris DAB 5 MUX now clear @ 1152 hrs BST

There was a very nice opening deep into Germany this morning. It started around 0645 UTC and faded out around 1000 UTC. Best DX was Ochsenkopf on 107.1 at 791 km. Then at 725 km a couple of txs from Sonneberg/Bleßberg, along with stations from Brocken (682 km), Inselberg (679 km), Torfhaus (677 km), and Kreuzberg (656 km). The direction of reception from my QTC was 80 - 112 deg. These were all live DX.

In the other direction I got BBC Radio Cymru and Classic FM from Wenvoe - logged at 0739 UTC.

Some good tropo to the SW here getting ready for work this morning e.g. BBC Radio Devon strong on 103.4, Breeze South Devon good with full RDS on 105.5, Radio Exe 107.3 and Heart South Hams on 100.5/101.2/101.9. Also some tropo to the south such as Parthenay and Pic du Midi.

Seems pretty flat now.
Good DX.

Hi David,

Did you received any signals from Waldenburg? I received 93.8 SWR 2 around 10:25 BST and logged location as Saarburg as I have had previous signals from this TX and this was the nearest location. After reading your post, I think I may received Waldenberg signal, but I am not sure.

Saarburg TX is only 5kW compare to 100kW Waldenberg TX being in the same line. Here is video: https://youtu.be/MZmdq7JB9N0
