Not a sniff of Denmark or Sweden here earlier when Poland was coming in!

went hilltopping but not in an ideal place due to road closures

had pop on 101.0 which i had to listen to in 20k due to side splash , the fact that i could recognise songs in that b/w prob means it has to be Germany right?

iirc R 538/sky Radio etc have loud mod like the UK

it wasn't Today FM anyway

Probably WDR2 from Barbelkreuz, which was belting in here this morning.

I think you are right about Holland. You'd hear nothing but white noise at 20 kHz if that was Holland. Even 50 kHz would struggle.

Well John - I didn't get anything from Poland whilst Denmark peaked very strongly for a relatively short period of time here. A DXer 6 miles to the west of me logged Sweden at around the same time - but nothing heard here - not least because the lower end of the band was affected by a local iTrip which had been left on. Certainly nothing as exotic as BBC R2 on 89.1 logged in Latvia which is on the reciprocal path to my Danish and N German reception but somewhat earlier.

Reception died out completely sometime later.
