Excellent tropo throughout the night & this morning. Netherlands very good reception. Even managed to get RDS of NPO Radio 4. First time ever I have had RDS from Netherlands here & this was with the whip antenna of my Sangean portable. 8-)

Germany also in with very good reception.

No DAB from outside the UK for me though when scanning.

The tropo here was superb. It really got going after about 11 pm BST and produced lots of strong signals from northern Germany across the band with fairly low-powered stuff at fair levels. Some Dutch made it through as well. I was hoping for Poland this morning, but it was not to be.
Good DX.

According to Hepburn, the propagation will be wandered far enough until the end of the week to reach the Baltic Sea around Friday morning. Hope this will carry out, so there might be a little chance to catch up LT & LV signals then...

I was out until 22:00 and the band was full of German and Dutch stations an excellent opening and of course Dutch DAB 4 muxes in hope we have more.

This year is similar to 2013 and that year like this year we had a cold Winter so I think a lot has to do with the North sea being colder than usual.

Radio538 on 102.7 MHz is stronger than Heart on 102.8 - which is the strongest signal on the band. For all intent and purpose, the 3 ele vertical is pointing toward both stations. On the Sony 920B, despite adjacnt QRM it is resolving the RDS completely. The wife complained of lots of breakthrough on the car radio this afternoon :) .

The problem is that the signals are so strong on the horizontal aerial that the German DX is swamped. NPO Radio 4 has replaced France Blue Nord on 94.7 on the horizontal.

So it's Dutch Hutsput rather than Italian soup! DAB has been very strong with BEL on 12 and NPO on 12C - which normlly have marginal London MUXes occupying them.

But I really haven't go the desire to trawl through loads of stations trying to match audio to webstreams. I'll settle for the scan results as a record of the intensity o the opening.
SDRPlay, AirSpyMini, RTL dongles, SB920s, Yamaha TX930. 5 ele compact yagi on rotator at 18ft agl. FM5 facing east, FM5 facing south, FM3 facing NE, OIRT dipole, 3-ele Moxon vertical facing east.

91.5 BNR business news radio , format matches also its the only dutch listing
90.5 sublime fm, there are multiple Idents on your recording.
93.0 Radio 10, jingle at 1:08
88.6 presentation style sounds like 3fm , check it against 96.8 to confirm sometime
88.9 Belgian internet address given, FMlist lists 3 possible stations
89.6 yup RDL, you did well catching that rapid fire ID.
