Some teases from Spain here earlier, including unusually short skip from Euskadi Irratia on 87.7 at 901 km. I also managed to catch a VERY brief burst of classical music on 87.7 just before the Es dropped out. It sounded like it may have been RNE Radio Clásica. By the time I found the stream the signal had been gone for some seconds but it certainly sounded like the same sort of music. If so, conditions would suggest the Canaries.

Unfortunately I'm also battling with more regular QRM from something arcing, peaking SSE/SE, which strongly suggests it's coming from a care home behind the back garden. If this continues I'll have to take a more proactive approach.

2 hours and a half of Spanish-Portuguese ES, nothing new. Same frequencies and same stations over and over again...

Pro tip: hear some pop music playing? Just check out the now playing song on cadena100.es and you'll find the station ;)

most of them are available behind a hidden label "RADIOS ESP" on the Astra 19.2 degr. satellite system:

Cadena SER (national)
Los 40 Espana (national)
M80radio Espana (national)
Maxima FM (national)
Cadena DIAL (national)
Radiolé Andalucía
RNE Radio 1 Madrid
RNE Radio 2 Clasica
RNE Radio 3 Tres
RNE Radio 5 Madrid

10847.00 V
22000 5/6

this is highly recommended, as there are also numerous french stations on 19.2

that helps a lot during Eskip
