nothing going on in Nth. GER., I would say - as usual - if not catching the same everytime.

Another day (the third in a row!!!) just passing by without ANY trace of activity on VHF-II.
This is definitely the worst ES season I have ever experienced in 20+ years of E-skip FMDX.

I am both, really angry and disappointed about wasting my time every single day :cry: :evil:
At least, I was hoping to catch something else than the same 20 spanish stations this year.

Can I ask you where do you live?
It seems sometimes that you are somewhere in Italy.

//off topic //

Do you sometimes catch Maltese or Tunese FM stations during tropo duct? I remember having weak signals in the Ragusa area down in the south of Sicily but I doubt they would reach the west of Sardegna as this seems to far away and they might have too little power.

Nope, never received anything FM on tropo (except from the usual Spain - Baleares and south of France)... I've received the first Tunisian channel on TV, though.

Western Sardinia like our fellow of fmdx_italy, Cristian Puddu.
Here is his public bandscan of his hometown: it seems that he has never received Malta through tropo ducts and only a few Tunisian stations. http://www.fmlist.org/ul_frameset.php?F ... 5aab6b6f71

Yes! I've read his name many times on the FMlist map, being some kind of indicator for when to start searching for ES ;) - been loving receiving some stations I occasionally listen to online (French ones mainly)

Sardinia is blocking tropo reception of Tunisia and Malta.

Today an FM DXer in Western Corsica is receiving Chrea, Algeria. Any luck receiving ALG? Should be a direct sea path for you I think?

...no luck. Just tropo from Carcassonne, Bunyola and Alpicat (Baleares) at the moment.
