The 28 & 50 MHz maps are looking busy, and Tunisia has reached Saltdean.

I needed a break, it has been non-stop for hours.
Was weakening so I came out to use the net.
Algeria and Spain here with at least one Portugal. Plenty of RDS for a change.
The Eton Satellit 750 and the rtl_tcp worked well.

The RTL dongle on the south aerial logged Es signals from 10:11 BST to 15:26 BST. A very good extended opening for this time of the year and I actually managed to spend a decent amount of time live DX-ing. So far it seems to me that August is better than previous years - or at least better than 2016.

We need to keep an ear out in case the opening comes back again.
