I don't think there's a need for argument on what it was and what wasn't. Perhaps it was a brief Eskip and perhaps it was mobile TX. The fact is, whatever it was, the fading pattern is different from Es but an aggravating discussion is not necessary.

Actually, I do not like the tone of this conversation.
Let us stick to the facts:

We do not know what this was for sure.

We cannot prove it was E-skip. We cannot prove it wasn't. But there is a little doubt.

We have no proof for a car transmitter either. However, it is possible.

I admit, the fading is very unusual for ES. I have received car audio on 107.7 a few weeks ago, and I will provide this recording to you some days in the future. It was an interesting experience.

But this recording sounds different.

Could it have been aircraft scatter? Rather not, seems too stable.
Could it have been meteor scatter? Really not.
Could it ´have been tropospheric propagation? Might be. 88vier Berlin has programs dedicated to immigrants and is about 800 k away, so it is in range for both ES or tropo.

Let us wait and see if anyone else is coming up with a (reasonable) solution or any other log /unid from that day.

Until then I would like to keep in mind that the fact, that we don't see a proof, is no reason to believe that something wasn't or hasn't.

We haven't found dragon bones yet. But does that prove that dragons have never extised? I dont think so...there are things we do not know.
There are things happening which we cannot explain logically. Thre are mysteries in human life, as well as riddles in physics and chemistry.

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.
