Quadrantids Alert

Post by John Faulkner, Skegness » 03 Jan 2018 21:34

Had it not been for Andrew Webster reminding me, I would have forgotten about this shower.

Hope I'm not tempting too much fate by stating that this is always a reliably good shower. I will be beaming NE, vertically and looking at the top of the band.

Good DX all!

Was it me? It must have been. It has to be! My sincere apologies to all. I have been doing this hobby for long enough to know that if I say something like "RELIABLY GOOD SHOWER" then it won't be.

Maybe it's all down to that thing the media keep going on about, "DXit".

This year's Quadrantids were neither STRONG nor STABLE! I am disMAYed. There wasn't a single burst strong enough to trigger article DX Spy!
