RTI in German directly from Taiwan

Post by PFM907 » 03 Sep 2018 12:42

To whom it may concern or whoever is interested in this despite of broadcasting language is German.
Remember, you don't have to understand everything in order to obtain a special QSL verification card.
So, if anybody has been missing out the first time at the end of August, there will be one new chance.
Direct broadcasts of the German-language program in September from the Tamsui transmitter in Taiwan

Broadcast dates and frequencies:
Frequency 11990 kHz: 17: 00-18: 00 UTC
Frequency 9700 kHz: 18: 00-19: 00 UTC

September 07 (Friday) analogue SW
September 08 (Saturday) analogue SW
September 09 (Sunday) digital - DRM mode

September 27 (Thursday) analogue SW
September 28 (Friday) analogue SW
September 29 (Saturday) analogue SW
RTI's German language program is normally only available throughout the relay in Woofferton, UK.
RTI will be confirming reception reports of the direct broadcasts above with a special QSL card.

I have been tuning in last friday when 11990 gave a quite satisfying signal with a SW loop wire.
9700 was almost useless then thanks to China on 9695 right next to it (...what a coincidence!).

However, 9700 gave a strong and good understandable signal yesterday while 11990 was barely audible.
Despite of 9695 with CRI and 9705 RVA right next to it, I have been able to follow the whole broadcast.
