Sony F1 HD and others?

Post by Alex Lawler » 08 Sep 2015 17:25

Has anyone tried any of the three Sony models for TA MW dx? Just a thought as they're razor sharp selectivity and sensitivity may be well suited . I'm trying now but am only using a miracle whip. Obviously it goes up in 5 kHz and uses the US band plan. I can just about hear 5 live on 690. I'm not sure whether this is due to it's good selectivity or my lack of suitable aerial .

Thanks, judging by that it might be worth a play just to see the HD light come on but not for much else.

The F1HD is a great FM receiver, especially when modified to display full RDS details: http://fmdx.pl/xdr-i2c/
