Thanks. looks like rf performance is as good as ergonomics.
I may splurge, but enough about my personal life, i might buy the radio too.

I can imagine taking that on holiday to a b&b

Llanelli was Flukey , I can't usually stick a mag mount on a balcony away from the qrm from the sdr like I did there

It's either that or a tuner for dxing in hotel rooms I think

does that have IF out?

Tim it is good but a bit pricey in the UK. mine was secondhand and in vgc.

No IF out, however, the audio out will feed RDS Spy via a sound card with 192 kHz capability.
