Sweden 1476 kHz

Post by PFM907 » 22 Oct 2018 06:43

Swedish LPAM Asfalttelegrafen from Boraas in Central Sweden is supposed to be back again on medium wave under new temporary license. According to mediumwave.info it is now broadcasting via 1476 kHz this time, former ORF frequency.

No confirmation so far from my side yet, as I could not get hold of the signal yesterday or during last night. I will give it a try next week. However, watch out for hard rock music. Here is a recording of Asfalttelegrafen when still on 1593 kHz:

Just Egypt here - No sign of anything else when Egypr signs off. Not even a carrier.

Are they definitely on now? I will turn the flag towards Sweden later if so.

Asfalttelegrafen is onair again. With music and frequent ID:s. This
time on 1476 kHz, which might be an easier channel than previously
used 1593 kHz. Think it is still 100 Watts.

Would be useful to know their schedule as they are on at different times each day and only sometimes during night.

Good luck!
