Buxton repeater 50 MHz

Today I noticed no Buxton repeater on 50 MHz the two STLs are the same strength as they usually are can anyone confirm that it is off air as it usually hits me with a 7 on the meter scale.

Receiving equipment: 2 Sony ST-S311, 1 Sony ST-SE520, 1 Sony ST-SE700 2 crossed FM 5s rotatable, 1 homemade FM 3 horizontal beaming S/E, 1 vertical FM 3 fixed beaming at Ireland, 2 element band 1.

the buxton beacon is absent on 50 & 70

70 is back 50 is still off

its definitely off not on reduced power, I visited Buxton

I was out most of yesterday so only got to check last night 29/12/15 and there it was blazing in all it's glory and it's on this morning.

I wonder if they switched it back on after you visited Tim.
