Chaine 1 Algeria 891 kHz

Post by AMDXHUN »

Today after the tests Alger Chaine 1 has started on 891 kHz. Clear, Strong sigal with good modulation. S9+20-25 in Hungary with my 2x27m dipole.

Thanks for the tip. Coming through here quite well indoors despite all of the noise.

hmmm...just wondering:
Isn't that completely destroying every chance of receiving Etyopia on co-channel?

btw ... has anybody received TRT's Antalya outlet on this frequency recently (before ALG went on-air testing) ??
who knows if they are still active?

I heard the test tones during the week here in London with with an s9+ signal.
There are two 100w and one planned 50w low power Dutch stations on 891 kHz, so I don't think that they are going to be very happy.

"Hotradio Hits" is audible near the border to Poland after 15 UTC so I don't think that they actually use 100 watts acc. to lists ;)
