Sounds good Julius! Looking forward to checking here. I haven't been around this evening so something to anticipate in the morning with a bit of luck.

Hi Julius. It's turned into a busy day and I still haven't checked yesterday evening's recordings. I'll have to be brutal and delete my overnight files. I just don't have the time.

What I did notice about yesterday evening's files was that conditions were hopeless at 17:00 & 18:00. They had improved a bit by 19:00, but had made a marked improvement by 21:00 - 22:00. So it improved substantially after a minor blowout.

This evening seems much better and I have South Korea booming in on 972 even though the indices haven't dropped by much. Again, I won't be able to check the files until tomorrow .... hopefully!

it varies a lot, two hours ago I thought fantastic, now it really has declined. It is not quite stable with many peaksand many downs, last night Philipines were audible on 1350 at 19.50. A hour before I thought this is gonna bring nothing more

Some of the best east Asian signals I have heard at 20:00 this evening.

Well Radio Free Asia on 1557 was coming in strongly and blotted out anything else and although HLAZ on 1566 suffers interference I heard "H-L-A-Z" very clearly - probably the best so far. Also I got time signals on 972 and 1143, but not 1134. I missed the time signal on 711 - but got "chinese" yl on 711 speaking lowly and distinctly - so must be Taiwan.

What other frequencies worth checking?
Locatio: Sittingbourne, Kent JO01ji
SDRPlay, AirSpyMini, RTL dongles, SB920s, Yamaha TX930. 5 ele compact yagi 20ft agl - 120 deg. FM5 - 80 deg, FM5 -180 deg. OIRT dipole and 3-ele Moxon - 80 deg. Shielded magnetic loop 0.1-200 MHz

I've just had a catch-up on loggings. Shouldn't have left it so long, but check my log page: http://www.skywavesdx.org/viewforum.php?f=76

It almost seems like anything is possible these days. Those weaker South Koreans such as 864 891 1134 and 1170 are all coming up well lately. The Japanese stations are also coming in very well. Why not look out for Japan on 1278? Their rising top of the hour jingle is very distinctive and can be heard easily under Europeans. Yesterday evening it was obliterating 1278. Even a personal first of Beijing on 639 managed to obliterate Spain yesterday!

Check my Youtube page for IDs, etc. http://youtube.com/g1vvp I've uploaded a few recently.
