Thanks.

Hi John,
I am hearing Botswana again right now(oct 5th, 2019, 1350Khz). I am sorry they did not play the song you mentioned. It wa spurely african popmusic, mainly non stop, short anns, but clearly // webstream. Even had an ID.
My earlier reply on this got lost in this site being off for a few days.

Not a problem Julius. Thanks for the tip.

I did hear them a while back. My flag usually points north-east or north-west, so it's unlikely I would hear them at the moment.

Does anyone know when they are switching off their transmitter in the evening? I tried yesterday after 21°° UTC which is too late obviously. There was absolutely nothing to hear. I recognized, 1350 AM is a completely clear frequency in Central Europe nowadays after IAMRadio has gone. TWR Europe and Magyar Rádió are pure daytimers.
This could become an interesting channel towards North America during the winter season.
BOT is listed 24/7 but I doubt it, as VOA 1530 was strong last night until 22°° UTC.

Hi, I have best results from them between 20 and 21 UTC. Heard them 3 times the past two weeks. Quite excited about it.
Don't know about any S/Off time. Their live stream is avalaible on tunein. So that is good to check as they play (good!) African popmx, with just a few anns in between. I was Lucky to catch an ID but if you receive them, the signal can be weak but you'll be able to //the songs with their webstreams. Those songs are rather long, 8 minutes or so, which is helpful.

I received this today at 2050, after the Greek pirate went off air: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UX2TQNi ... e=youtu.be
I compared with the livestream in the recording, but I'm not sure.
