Tip (maybe not DX !)

Post by simbeav » 01 Sep 2018 08:51

Nice ID for WMGE on 1670 just before 0500 this morning.

I'm only mentioning it because I didn't have this callsign in my log. It's the same station as WPLA, but I didn't know that they changed almost 2 years ago !

David - That definitely would be exotic DX! A pity 1240 is splattered out with Absolute 1242 at that time.

I got the WMGE too, thanks to your alert. Thanks Simon - I don't think I heard this last season.

There is a LOT to go through and I won't have time until later.

It seems to be a Peruvian morning. Latins on many frequencies. Radio Santa Rosa, Lima has a great ID at 0500

X-band was loud in southern Occitania at 0500. Nice ID for WBCN 1660 "94.7 Smoke" and KRJO 1690 "This is 99.7 My FM KRJO Monroe"
