Who is this one ?

Post by Patrick73 » 30 Jul 2018 13:07

Hi there !

Could someone help IDing the female voice ? (I mean the station of course !)
Heard on 576, on few months ago, around 2240z. I usually only have Spain on this frequency. Not a DX for sure, but curious to know more about it.
BNR Horizont ???

EDIT : here is another extract, recorded last month. I guess both are from the same station : https://vocaroo.com/i/s1zXZCmfNHSd

Thanks.

Given the frequency, the time and the slavic sounds it has to be Bulgaria Horizont. Only one word to grab on to and look up: second recording, 19secs: dispasna (dispose).

I find it really difficult to differentiate between Russian, Belorussian, Bulgarian and Ukrainian. No, not difficult but impossible. In this case it's only the frequency occupancy list plus the slavicness that makes it an easy one.

This page for Horizont's live stream if you're checking in real time: http://player.bnr.bg/?p=1 Програма Хоризонт (Programma Horizont)
