I might have Radio Capital Acre, which would be a nice catch. I *think* the ID is in there, but it's so weak I couldn't possibly log it.

Definitely Radio Capital Acre you have there John. This is my recording starting from the same time as yours.

You can hear the same music and the distinctive "pulses". Id at 35 seconds

1380 will have to remain a mystery.

Wow! I hear it now, though part of my ID drops out, but it's definitely there. Thank you VERY much for this Simon. Another PF for me. I don't think I'm going to have the same luck this morning as I see a nice peak around 0640 - 0820 - coinciding beautifully with this morning's noise peak. I was lucky yesterday as the noise peaked after 0800 until after 1100.

1490 has an interesting and mush-penetrating six note flute-sounding interval signal at 05:01:08 There is an OM ID, which is clear enough, but I can't quite get there. I hear "Cadena". Maybe Radio Nueva Vida from Barranquilla, going by the offset.

I didn't realist that the interval signal/jingle/sounder is repeated. It's so distinctive I'm sure it's identifiable. I think I can hear a possible ID after the sounders too, but I'll leave this open. Any help appreciated.

I meant to mention to you yesterday that it was repeated, John. Unfortunately your signal is better than mine, so I can't help with the ID - I can just make out faint talk on mine well down in the noise. Interesting, though.

Thanks Simon.

Here's another one from 1480, this time from this morning. There's an ID in there.

It's too weak for anything here, but maybe somebody else has this better. I won't say what it sounds like to my ears as it might lead some ears into expecting to hear this particular call, but it definitely isn't that. (Hope that makes sense. ;)

I'm obviously mishearing, sounds like WWHCDX to me. It just seems like too many letters.

Sorry ignore my last piece of nonsense. I was listening on poor earphones (not headphones) in work. As has been pointed out elsewhere it is WGVU and to make things worse it is on my recording as well.

Just had a visual look at my overnight band, before I check with my ears later, and I see a lot of very strong carriers. There were some great signals.

Thanks David. I may have missed that one as 1260 is usually dominated by Europeans here with just the loop, but this was really booming in.

Good TA signals again this morning, although they seem the same as yesterday.

I checked some of yesterday's recordings & logged some personal firsts.
