Hearing an announcement for downloading the iHeart Radio app on 1420 at 0600. Either WOC or KTOE. Presume the former, but no actual ID heard here.

Another good morning for transatlantic DX! Some huge signals here in Kent. I can't check overnight recordings yet as got to go to work, but suspect there will be some PFs in there.

Thanks David.

I had all tohs this morning as the my noise period was brief. Nothing at all at 0800. All North Americans had faded here. But I caught a nice YL WMVP ID at 0700. 0600 might have KOMO behind WMVP, but it's tricky.

Chicago seemed dominant today. 780 WBBM in around 0500 - 0600. I think I hear WJJD 1160 and WSCR 670, but also WGN 720 audible under BBC!

Possible CJOB on 680 mixing with CFTR, around 0500-0600 on the 3rd. Still trying to find an ID.

Conditions this morning are nowhere near as good as yesterday, at least here in Kent.

There was a minor disturbance late yesterday evening, which enhanced conditions at the wrong time - around midnight. I could hear stuff like 760 WJR, 780 WBBM and 1540 KXEL at good levels. Then it disintegrated. If only it had blown just before sunrise. At least it wasn't a bad disturbance, so conditions should recover quickly.

Rubbish last few days here. Local noise went through the roof Thur/Fri night swamping even some of the regulars.

WHBC IDs at 0359 on 1480. Personal first here. Long time no hear station from the 80s, DXing back in Nottinghamshire.

Thanks David.

Neither here. My 1370 splatter ceased at the exact time too. No noise at 0730 either! But also no WXXI. :(

A Spanish station took over 1420 at 0600 with very clear time pips. An OM followed with a presumed ID, but I can't make it out. Anybody else have this?

I'm still suffering from terrible noise at the top of the band. It gets better the lower down you go ( for years I was plagued by noise lower down which lessened on the higher frequencies).
Spotted WWL on 870 at 07:00 and was suprised when I saw that it was not in my logbook. I think in the past I have neglected some of the lower frequencies due to the noise that was there in previous years.

Plus, the lower half of MW usually propagates less well than the upper half.

There there's the X band. That really is a law unto itself and often bears no relation to the conditions on the rest of the band.

Reasonably good conditions for TA DX overnight. If anyone needs it, WBEN Buffalo, New York, 930 khz came through with a clear ID at 06.00.

Some very interesting North American conditions around midnight.

1480 WLMV Madison WI popped up 0130. A personal first here with lively Latin music and "La Movida" jingles.

1490 seemed to have an ID at 0000 https://youtu.be/9_cloj2HIF8

1510 had a Gospel station closing down just after 2300 - this was clear but not at the top op the hour. This one is of particular interest. Did anybody else get this?

There were other daytimers too around the 1500-1520 slot. Some at audio level again.
