Post by tvdxrools » 23 Dec 2017 11:07

did anyone record 0500 this morning , i dont know what it was like south of the border or anywhere else but at my location there was no TA whatsoever not even carriers from the usual power houses and i actually went along the beverage in the dark to see if it was ok and was glad to see some activity start from 0730 but band crashed again 0830. Yes. NA seemed to go then, but I've got lots of lots of Latin stations in their place. Unfortunately noise levels are high and so far I haven't identified any ! Simon/

Hello David / Simon. I have a good overnight session recorded with relatively little noise. After taking a quick look, I see a very obvious and sudden general dip on TA carriers between 0430 and 0600. I am just about to start listening, but it looks like the carriers simply returned after the blowout. So I don't have any real hopes of a change in reception after this as I just see most of the same carriers returning. Checking through now.
