Not a good morning to ...

Post by John Faulkner, Skegness » 30 Oct 2017 09:38

forget to press record.

Very quiet conditions overnight, though Asia was poor yesterday evening, apart from the usuals (including 1413 JOIF) at 2000.

How did you do?

Very frustrating. Looks as if it should have been a good night, lots of strong signals, lots of carriers and a good enhancement around 7, but all the interesting looking signals were either swamped by the "usuals" or no audio, presumably because of local noise.

Still checking, but does anybody know who either identifies as or has a programme, "La voz de la noche" on 1460 ?

1460 is almost impossible here (only WHIC confirmed in the past), but at 07:00 a spanish station came out of the splatter with music and an announcement by a yl including "La voz de la noche". Offset matched Nuevo Continente and I see that David and John received that last year, but just wondering if anybody recognises the slogan.

Well, China is already reasonable for the time of day. Noted just after 1430. Urumqi is not really an indication of things to come, but it's a nice early start. (I pressed record this time!)
