How was last night for you ?

Post by simbeav » 23 Sep 2017 10:52

I'm afraid I had a bad case of premature .......

Things were looking great when I went to bed - all the Canadiands and a few Latins coming in really strong low down in the band.
Came down this morning to "connection to the Perseus is lost.......Retrying". Nothing after about 0110z !

Don't know what happened. Had to reboot to get it back, but things were looking really promising. Please tell me it was a damp squib !

mmm. I'm glad I haven't got my recordings to compare now. It would have been soul destroying

For those not having a good ID of Radio Buenos Aires, it was very strong around 01:00 on 1350 with some programme details and an ID at 01:01'25. It's been almost nightly here this summer, but last night was probably the strongest that I have heard and later may have been better.

Noise wiped out everything overnight. This may be a connection issue (yet again) on the flag, so looking at that in a few minutes.

Skegness has had no internet or phone service for 24 hours after somebody apparently cut through a cable. So no DX and no internet! I felt completely lost! ;)

The evening of the 22nd was good for the Far East. More on that in a separate post.
