Nice signals and great video, David! This morning's opening was certainly the best one since quite a while ago. Some of the usual suspects such as WEGP, WLAM, WFED, WMEX and WFME came in nicely strong between 0600 and 0700 at my QTH wih the ALA1530 indoors while others such as WBBR ad WWKB were quite weak. Besides those common ones I got a few personal firsts:

1070 Radio Santa Fé
1190 Radio Cordillera
1250 Capital Radio
1290 La Voz de Las Estrellas (presumed)
1520 Radio Libertad
1580 Verdad Radio
1290 WKBK
1300 WOOD
1360 WDRC
1480 WSAR
1650 CJRS

Cheers, Matthias

Congrats on the pf Matthias well done , at my qth it was really quite poor and signals below 1300 were very weak from 0500 and below 1400 was worse at 0800 and at this time of the year i would be expecting the band to be open to 1000 or later at my qth but its been rather poor BUT i have been getting a couple of pf so it is worth watching the band cheers David, Scotland

Thank you David! For my area some signals were way above average, especially considering the ALA1530 being indoors and I don't remember when I last got almost a dozen PF during a single session before... Of course, the SDR was extremely helpful. Without it, I would have missed most IDs.
I'm sorry to hear that conditions were that poor at your QTH which is in general certainly better suited for TA DX than mine near the geographical centre of Germany. Even with a 100 m longwire in the field, the signals I'm getting during reasonably good conditions are often weaker than what you get in Scotland during mediocre conditions even with an indoor flag (although my simple longwire has proved pretty nice performance over the years). Let's hope propagation will improve soon. Today, there was almost nothing from across the pond except for some brief and weakish apprearances of WBBR and a weak fluttery Latino on 1350 at 0600.

Cheers Matthias

Had a quick listen to the recordings before work and seems very poor this am. Yesterday was a lot better but nothing unusal received, don't have a huge amount of time to check though.

nothing much this morning 9/12/2015 apart from strong signals from the following at 0800
1470 XEAI-AM Radio Fórmula Mexico
1590 XEVOZ-AM La Mexicana Mexico
1650 XEAZR-AM ZER Radio 1650 Mexico ( this one was weak )

really nothing much else at 0800 and i was in the shack from 0500 doing some live dxing and 0800 was the first recording i made so it gives you an idea of the propagation . the past couple of mornings at 0800 i have heard a US preacher on 1350 but no clues or id as yet cheers David , Scotland

anyone heard Glenn Hausers World of Radio being aired on 1860khz am mode by a US Ham? 375watts 4am sunday mornings
dxers in electrically quiet Scotland might manage it?
