I can just about recieve the Birmingham local MUX here in Burton on Trent on some days, even though I can see the lights on the mast on clear nights. I believe its beamed South West from Sutton Coldfield. If there is the slightest tropo enhancement then I have no reception. I assume this must be due to interference from other MUX's.

Just picked up the test transmissions and a test card from the Big Centre TV which is the new Birmingham Local TV station. Not a good signal here 18 miles north east of Sutton Coldfield. Barely watchable. I guess the signal is beamed south west from Sutton Coldfield so I am lucky to get anything at all.
