It's sad to see how thin on the ground band 1 txs are now.

Thanks Günter.

I won't be looking at TV DX again unfortunately. I'd never get the permission to put up another large antenna. I was merely curious and wondered if anybody else would still be doing this. If the North American DX potential has reduced then it won't hold any real interest for me.

I will throw my Trumatch band 1 dipole up and see if band 1 is clean as back in 2010 the band was a mess with QRM here.

oh i'll be there Mr Faulkner! whereever there is Grodno, Minsk or Lwow i will be there!

you should use your Band 2 ant for the 77-93mhz stuff
is your band empty enough that u may even be able to see 93.25?
don't rule it out

absolutely no danger of that here with Llangollen killing the band

seeing this list of targets has really got me interested

Just put my band 1 dipole up connected to my TV card and R1 AND E3 is clear R2/E4 QRM anyway I can put it on channel preview which scans selected frequencies so now all I need is a signal.

I doubt I can since I installed the Fringe band 2 pre-amp on the mast. I expect the cut-off is too harsh down at 66 MHz.
