According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, from August 1, 2018 in Kiev, Kiev and Kirovograd regions, and from September 1, 2018, the broadcasting of analogue terrestrial television will be suspended throughout Ukraine. For further air reception of Ukrainian TV channels, viewers need to connect to free T2 digital terrestrial TV or pay-TV, cable, satellite or Internet.

Free T2 digital terrestrial television allows you to watch 32 Ukrainian channels in high quality.

What equipment is needed to connect to digital TV?

Receiving DVB-T2 digital terrestrial TV requires receiving antenna and DVB-T2 receiver.

If you have a modern TV with built-in DVB-T2 tuner, then no additional equipment will be required except for the receiving antenna. You can check the information on whether your DVB-T2 tuner is installed on your TV, as instructed on the TV. If the TV does not support the DVB-T2 standard - you will also need a digital prefix (DVB-T2 receiver).

To watch DVB-T2 digital TV programs on different TVs, you need to purchase a separate prefix (DVB-T2 receiver) for each TV.

If you are not connected to a collective antenna, then you need to purchase a decimeter reception antenna, which can be either indoor or external. In the immediate proximity of the TV tower you can use the indoor antenna, at a considerable distance from the transmitting center - an external antenna with an amplifier, placing it at the highest possible height.
