Analogue TV in Bangkok

Post by pe1etr » 19 Apr 2018 09:08

There are still a couple of stations broadcasting in good old analogue in Bangkok (UHF).
(There is also analogue cable TV which might mess up Es for me, as it includes Band l).

does the cable leak, and does it use the 240-350mhz range?

Tim, I was only talking about analogue TV in Bangkok. The next phase of analogue closedown was concluded in July 2018. I now have only one analogue TV station (on UHF). There might still be E2 and E4 in Thailand, but you are referring to old reports.

I don't have TVDX aerials to check for long-range groundwave.
