A lot of silly music for elevators and (as you can expect) some Quranic broadcasts.
Is it the daily common "menu" of Band 2 in Dubai or that day was a special one for some reasons?
Rxs: Degen DE-1103, Sangean ATS-909, and the newcomer Tecsun PL-398 MP

Don't know why this was happening, for example Dance FM advertises that it plays Dance music.
Ironically I had a copyright claim for 10 seconds of a Selena Gomez song that was played by one station, which I deleted.

According to some sites, November 20th wasn't a holiday in Dubai or some kind of religious celebration.
Who knows?

This is just a guess, but could the easy-listening/classical mix be because the 29th of November was a Friday, which is a holy day in Islam?

BTW your unid 97.6 is Zayed Quran Radio from Fujairah, UAE.
Good DX.

Except it was recorded on 20th Nov as per the caption on the video :)
Thanks for clarifying 97.6, I answered your comment on YouTube.

Ah in that case then it is indeed a mystery.

Thanks Andy.
Yes classical/easy listening music was strange on the pop stations.
