Can't change e-mail address in profile

Hi, I've gone to user control panel -> profile -> edit account settings and my current e-mail address is just shown in bold text instead of a data field you can type in. Is there a way around this?

I have just checked my profile and I can edit mine ok I am using Chrome with no problems so maybe try a different browser as a test.

I've just tried it using Edge and still can't change the address.
