Re: Testing Spy Server Network (Remote SDRs)
Do you know the location of the Italian one?
I suppose is Northern Lazio or Western Umbria (Viterbo? Orvieto?).

Exact location isn't given, but I think Lazio. The map has no cities or towns on it.Franco Martelli wrote: ↑22 Nov 2018 16:31Do you know the location of the Italian one?

Re: Testing Spy Server Network (Remote SDRs)
Hello Franco
Here is a list of the stations I received with RDS info when I recorded the clip for the video.
104.7 5264
105.1 RAI Radio 1 5201
105.4 RDS 5264
105.7 R.105 5211
106.5 R. Maria 51CC
106.7 RMC 5213
107.2 R. Maria 51CC
The receiver is an RTL-SDR so I suspect overload. There was nothing in the bottom part of the FM band!
Server is down today so I can't re-check
Peter
Update: Now working. Location Vitorchiano (VT). The gain needs to be set very high to get stations at the bottom of the FM band.

These are some of the powerful signals coming from the top of Mt. Amiata:pe1etr wrote: ↑23 Nov 2018 02:05Hello Franco

And 104.7 / 106.5 are also local txs.
But Radio 1 on 105.1 is very strange: I'd expect to hear Radio Radicale from Mt. Amiata on that frequency, there in Vitorchiano.

Re: Testing Spy Server Network (Remote SDRs)
That's normal. According to the SpyServers map, there's a FM filter on this receiver:
"Antenna type: 144/433 Omnidirectional // GSM+B-FM Filters // 22db WB-LNA"
